AICTE IDEA LABS
AICTE-IDEA (Idea Guru Nanak Institutions Development, Technical Evaluation Campus & in the Application) year 2021 Lab is for established encouraging and at students and faculty for application Of science, technology engineering mathematics (STEM) fundamentals towards enhanced hands-on experience, learning by doing and even product visualization. As: a common facility embedded in the institution, the IDEA Lab will make engineering graduates more imaginative and creative, besides getting basic training in the 21st century skills like- critical thinking, problem solving, design thinking, collaboration, communication, lifelong learning etc. IDEA Lab can empower the students and faculty to ‘engage, explore, experience, express and excel”, addressing the need of new age learning. IDEA Lab would serve as an infrastructure for faculty to take up and promote multidisciplinary education and research. Accordingly, faculty would be encouraged to get trained in this Lab and strive for creating problems/ projects/ internships in their subjects/ disciplines and mentor the students.

“Transforming India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy”, being the vision of Digital India, the IDEA lab can provide opportunities that help the students to “Engage, Explore, Experience, articulate and Excel” in their area of specialization to solidly bolster “Atma Nirbhar Bharat” mission. This innovative stimulation in technical education would usher in qualitative change to the engineering graduates to be more inventive and creative, besides acquiring essential virtues in critical thinking, problem-solving, out of the box thinking, collaboration communication etc.
WORKING DYNAMICS & IDEOLOGY :
The facility is extensively used for the purposes of projects, internships, clubs and hobbies, competitions and will be introduced to the students during the Induction Programme .More over faculty members can get an opportunity to participate in workshops/seminars on recent developments in different technologies by enhancing their skills in IDEA lab IDEA lab can assist the institution in the realization of the “Technology Vision 2035” which emphasizes on the significance of Technology in the service of India. IDEA lab focuses on ICT Based innovations in different sectors such as food & agriculture, healthcare, electronics & communications, telecommunications, road transportation, engineering industries, materials & processes, advanced sensors and services.
The IDEA lab aligns with the vision of “Make in India” initiative of Government of India. The IDEA lab will promote and help to bring balance between social, economic and environmental sustainability.
